Four generations, in a group photo. Some could not turn up as they were at work.

Our uncle, Dad's younger brother Wah Chow with his wife and grandson.

Dad's room is the empty patch, now overgrown with grass. The opening directly in front, (not the red metal door) is actually the entrance.

The arch with the name , marks the entrance to the village. To the right of this arch, is the large farm land.

Today, the village lies alongside the 325 National Road.
Travel south along 325 National Road from Heshan.
My dear cousins, please correct me if I am wrong.

Heshan is actually south west of Guangzhou. Dad said he left home and went to the ferry point, where he took a boat to HK. He stayed one night in HK before boarding a ship for Singapore. circa 1940's (pre World War 2)

Guangzhou Airport Baiyun

after a long 4 hour flight. Hadi came along to take care of dad.
